How much is a Drink Brighton tour?
£65 per person (sorry – no discounts for students, seniors or Brighton residents)
How long is the tour?
Roughly 3 hours but it may run over if our punters are having too much fun!
What is included in the tour cost?
All drink samples and any food tasters. Plus the undivided attention of your own BFT/sommelier guides.
How many people are on the tour?
We’re not into big impersonal groups – plus it would be tricky for our lovely vendors to accommodate them – so we prefer an intimate gathering of no more than 8 punters
How many stops are on the tour and and how much food & drink will there be?
We visit 6 different hotspots with sample-sized drinks, plus a few foodie tasters along the way.
Do you cater for particular dietary requirements or food allergies/intolerances?
Please let us know of any particular requirements when booking. Our vendors will let us know if there are nuts in their products but we can’t guarantee that foods will not have come into contact with allergens so please do exercise your judgement accordingly.
Do you offer a range of different tours?
Yes! We regularly run our signature, tried-and-tested V.I.B (Very Independent Brighton) Tour that has proved to be extremely popular with both residents and visitors to Brighton. We also have a Drink Brighton Tour which runs monthly, and more coming soon (Vegan, Beer & Food, the list goes on…). Keep an eye on our Tours page for up-to-date info on all tours we’re currently running or sign up to our mailing list to hear first about new food & drinks tours, offers & occasional Brighton foodie news…
If you’re looking for a private and/or tailored tour, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
What do you do in case of bad weather?
Our tours go ahead come rain or shine so be sure to come prepared for all weather eventualities. Umbrellas are pretty redundant in Brighton (it can get rather gusty!) so if it’s wet we recommend waterproof coats with hoods etc.
On very rare occasions we may decide to cancel due to extreme weather conditions.
How far do you walk on the tour?
It’s a total of approx 3 miles – broken up into 6 stops – at a leisurely pace.
Is there anywhere to sit?
A few of our stops have seating, but you’re not guaranteed a seat. You can expect to be standing or walking for the whole tour.
Are there opportunities for toilet stops?
Most of the places we visit do not have toilets so be prepared to cross your legs if you don’t go before we meet.
Are the tours appropriate for kids?
Definitely not! It’s a wine tour… say no more
Do we need to bring anything?
Just bring yourself, in a pair of comfortable shoes. You may also like to bring a bottle of water with you, a bag for any purchases along the way and your smartphone for any en-route photo action and social media sharing. (P.S Don’t forget to tag us – @BTNFoodTours)
Are the tours accessible for wheelchair users?
Let us know your requirements when making your booking enquiry and we’ll do our best to ensure the tour is suitable.
